DeepDive is a research tool: you ask a question, and it searches the web and writes a report in which every claim is checked against its source. This page explains what we store, why, and who else sees it.
What we store
- Your account, from Google sign-in: your Google account id, email address, name and profile picture link, plus when you joined and last signed in. We never see or store your Google password.
- Your research: the questions you ask and everything a run produces: sub-questions, search queries, excerpts of the web pages it read, drafted claims, the verifier's verdicts and quotes, the final report, and a step-by-step log of the run.
- Server logs: like most websites, our web server records requests (including IP address and time) to keep the service running and secure.
Who can see your research
Runs you start are private to your account. Other users can't open them. The example reports on the home page are runs created by us, not by users.
Services that process your data
- Google: handles sign-in.
- Mesh API: routes our calls to AI models (from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic and Google). Your question, the sub-questions and the source excerpts are sent through it to plan the research, write and verify claims, and screen questions for harmful content.
- Tavily: receives the search queries made from your question and returns web results.
- Amazon Web Services: hosts the app and its database in the Sydney (Australia) region.
We share data with these services only to provide DeepDive. We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
Cookies
We use one cookie, a signed session cookie that keeps you signed in. It is removed when you sign out. We don't use analytics or advertising cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and research while your account exists. To delete your account and all your runs, email saurabh.kaushik1206@gmail.com from the address you sign in with, and we'll delete them within 30 days.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, at saurabh.kaushik1206@gmail.com. You can also remove DeepDive's access in your Google account settings under "Third-party apps and services".
Age
DeepDive is intended for people aged 18 or over.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. Significant changes will be shown on the site before they take effect.
